The Kneifelspitze (1189m) is the local mountain (1189 m ) of the residents.
Known for the most beautiful view of Berchtesgaden and the mountains of Salzburg.
From the summit it provides a classic panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden mountain world, including the Watzmann.

The hike starts at the Maria Gern pilgrimage church (730 m).

The ascent to the Kneifelspitze is relatively short, approx 90 minutes.
The cosy mountain restaurant “Paulshütte” with panorama terrace invites you for a light meal.
